Rules for Open Mic Stage Performances

At Beats and Bites, we aim to create a welcoming and supportive environment for all performers. To ensure everyone has a great experience, we’ve established the following guidelines for our Open Mic Stage:

1. Performance Slots: Each performer is allocated a 10-minute time slot, which includes setup and teardown. This keeps the flow of performances smooth and ensures everyone gets a chance to shine.

2. Content Guidelines: Performances must be family-friendly and appropriate for all audiences. Offensive language, themes, or behavior will not be permitted.

3. Equipment Use: Musicians can use the equipment provided on stage (e.g., microphones, keyboard, drum kit, amplifiers) or bring their own instruments. Let our team know in advance if you need assistance setting up.

4. Respect for Fellow Performers: Be mindful of your allotted time and be supportive of other performers by staying to cheer them on. A little encouragement goes a long way in building a thriving music community.

5. Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled slot to check in, set up, and complete a quick sound check with our staff. Late arrivals may lose their slot.
